Problem Statement
Problem Statement
Many people want to give to causes that matter, but donation platforms are often confusing, restricted by location, or lack clear options. There is a need for a simple, mobile-first solution that allows anyone to donate easily, with the ability to choose from different categories of causes.

Understanding the User
Understanding the User
I interviewed 8 potential donors from different countries, ages 20 to 40. The goal was to identify what motivates donations and what makes the experience difficult or discouraging.

Key Insights from Interviews
80% of participants have abandoned a donation due to long forms or unclear steps.
75% are most interested in causes related to education, health, hunger, and crisis relief.
90% feel more comfortable donating when causes are clearly categorized and described.
60% have experienced restrictions or failed transactions due to limited payment options, emphasizing the need for a smooth, global-friendly payment experience.

Competitor Analysis
To better understand the donation landscape and user needs, I analyzed four mobile platforms that help individuals discover causes and make charitable contributions. This helped identify key features, gaps, and opportunities to improve the giving experience.

Key Takeaway from the project
Key Takeaway from the project
Designing for global giving made me realize how important simplicity and trust are in donation experiences. Users want to give, but they will not if the process is too complicated or unclear. A focused, mobile-first design with well-organized cause categories can remove friction and empower more people to give with ease.
